I shared this summer salad recipe earlier this week, and it is one of my favorites!
It is so cool and refreshing. I love it all year long but especially in the summer.
4 Organic Tomatoes
4 Organic Cucumber
1 medium red onion, sliced
2 avocados, diced
1/2 cup raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tblsp raw honey
2 cloves minced garlic
¼ cup (1/2 bunch) cilantro, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
⅛ tsp black pepper
Chop All ingredients and mix together well.
This makes a large bowl, so feel free to cut the recipe in half for a smaller group.
Here are a few other fun summer salad recipes to try:
What is one of your favorite salads?
Fresh vegetables are so important to our health! Have you ever visited your local farmer’s market? I love visiting the Raleigh Farmer’s Market. If you are not local, check to see if your city has one. They probably do, and you didn’t even know it!
Misfits Market is such a cool way to buy affordable, high-quality produce and help eliminate waste. Do you ever wonder how each of your tomatoes is so perfect and what happens to the oddly shaped veggies? Well, they get wasted… BUT Misfits Market saves them!
And for meats, check out Butcher Box. It’s 100% grass-fed beef, free-range organic chicken, humanely raised pork, and wild-caught seafood.
I really love being in the kitchen and ALL THE THINGS when it comes to kitchen gadgets.
Here are a few:
This Rotary Cheese Grater may change your life, LOL! With 3 attachments, the grater is great for cheese, vegetables, potatoes, nuts, onions, chocolate, coleslaw, hash browns, salad, pizza toppings, and more.
This Vegetable Chopper with a container has three different sized chopper blades and 5 interchangeable blades for slicing, julienne, grating & shredding!
With the Ceramic Egg Cooker, you can literally make breakfast in minutes!
Any Frother is going to improve your coffee life! Definitely will always be a frother in my kitchen :)
