What are you dreaming about?
The Bible tells us that we will perish without a vision or a dream. In other words, if you don’t have a vision for your day, week, month, year, and future, you can waste time and end up busy with nothing to show for it. And eventually, you will feel dried up because life has no purpose.
On the other hand, when you have a vision, every day has a purpose. So you wake up ready to go make a difference.
The Bible also tells us that our words have the power of life and death, and whichever ones we choose to speak, we will reap the consequences of those words.
If you have big dreams, you have to be aware of the words you speak. So I want to help you speak this and not that.
Someday - a day that is not on the calendar.
This can be one of the most disabling words. If you don't have a date... it's not going to happen. Set a plan.
Today - A day that is on the calendar.
I will do it today.
Another great phrase is:
I will do it now.
I will not procrastinate. I will do it today. Even if the actual task does not get done, you can give it time on your calendar.
Why is this happening to me?
This keeps us stuck in a victim mentality.
This is happening for me.
We can learn something from everything. So if it teaches us something, then it is for your good. And we can even be thankful.
I don't know.
This implies our mind is fixed, and we are unable or unwilling to learn.
I will find out.
This shows you have a whatever it takes attitude and can figure and find things out.
This sounds like you will give up when it gets hard and not fight for something.
I will find a way.
This shows that you are a problem solver and will not easily give up.
Speak life over yourself, your family, those you work with, and everyone you come in contact with.
Speak life over your dreams, your day, your future, and every situation you face.
Your tongue is the rudder of your ship. You get to decide where it goes.
Head towards your vision and dreams.
Cheering you on!!
